He founded EER Systems Inc., a Washington D.C. based aerospace firm in 1979, which was taken-over by L3-Communications in May 2001. Dr. Gupta is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India. He holds a MS degree in Electrical Engineering from the Queen's University, Ontario, Canada (1970); a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University (1974) and a Masters of Science in Administration degree from George Washington University (1978). |
